McAfee VirusScan Command Line Scanner scanpm.exe cannot work anymore starting May 2007. The scanpm.exe version that I am using is 4400 engine. Therefore, it cannot work with virus definition starting May 2007. You can find more information at McAfee website.
Updated (05-06-2007) - Received official letter from McAfee mention that scanpm.exe is not longer supported.

1Go to McAfee & download the Engine-only Superdat File (Intel). After that run the setup to update the scan engine on your McAfee Product. That’s it :).

2Hi Aaron, nice to see you around.
Thanks for the tips. I tried that before. It does not contain scanpm.exe anymore in that Superdat file. I almost look all the McAfee website and Google for it. But still no luck. By the way, I need to use in pure DOS 6.22 mode. That’s the problem.

3One of McAfee program manager told me that they did not support this tool anymore. Therefore, no more DOS virus scanner I guess. But who need to use DOS anyway nowadays? It is time to let it go.
