No way. I checked with Friendster technical support. They said that I cannot turn off the new friendster message notification to my email inbox. Their reply, “You will still receive notifications for message alerts.We don’t have a feature to turn off the message alerts.”
Therefore, what I have done? Easy… I am using Gmail. So just click on “Report Spam” button la. 
Then, forever you will not receive any email from Friendster unless you enable back it. Cool huh? hehe…
