Continued from A long way to Cameron Highlands
It was long way to get to Cameron Highlands. But it is worth it. The are a lot of small towns at Cameron Highlands. The first small town that gave me the most memory. Although it was small but it was crowded. There are lot of people. Especially, it was after school time when we passed there. All the students were on their way back home.

Kampung Raja

Going home on Land Rover
After passing several small towns, we reached Cameron Highlands finally. We reached Equatorial Hotel first. It was a beautiful hotel. Too bad that it was fulled even during weekday. Why? I wondered. We knew the answer after we discovered that most of the hotels were fulled too. Pahang’s Sultan came to visit Cameron Highlands on the same day I visit Cameron Highlands. Therefore, most of the hotels in Brinchang were fulled.

Equatorial Hotel

This was why we did no have hotel to stay
We looked for at least 4 to 5 hotels along Brinchang town. All hotels were fulled except those expensive room. We were not afford to pay for expensive room. So we went down to Tanah Rata town to look for more hotel.

Star Regency Hotel at Brinchang also fulled
Brinchang is one of the main town in Cameron Highlands. It has most of the facility. Although it is consider a small town to me but it is much better compare to Kampung raja. It even has KFC there. And some nice schools too.

Yeah… KFC lo…

Sekolah Kebangsaan Convent
Finally, we got our hotel. It was not in Brinchang but in Tanah Rata. Tanah Rata is just a few KM from Brinchang. So it was not a big issue for us because we had car. We stayed in Century Pines Resort. It is a nice hotel. Price was a little high = RM227.70 per night. No more cheap RM100 to RM150 room for us. So we had to take that room else we have to sleep in car already.
