Google Chrome ~ a new web browser in town

Woo… The internet world is getting interesting with Google Chrome. By the way, just in case that you don’t know. Google Chrome is a new web browser. It has some cool features that attract me. For example, New Tab page (Links to websites you visit the most), Incognito mode (browse in stealth mode), and other more.

In no time, what should I do first? Load JayceOoi.com of course. Luckily, JayceOoi.com is working properly in Google Chrome. However, I faced layout problem with my other ASP.NET 2.0 website. Must be something wrong with the CSS setting.

Oh, before I forget. Google Chrome does have better memory management. It will release the memory when you close the tab that you are not viewing. However, Firefox and IE will still keep the memory for some time. Wasted…

Finally, don’t run it on low processing power CPU. I do face slowness on my Pentium M 1.5Ghz notebook. Get a better dual core or quad core CPU before download Google Chrome here.

HaHa… I got your point now. Google needs to do a lot of tweak here and there lo. I am the first one that won’t use it for the moment.

This is a beta version, and I have read a lot of comments about Google Chrome, slow because keep sending data to Google. This is one of the reason that I dowan to install first =)

Haha… Most of the Google products are in beta version. Even the famous Gmail is still in beta since it launch.

tested them already, I don’t know about the technical staff but I’m amazed with how fast it loaded my page certainly much faster than the fox

Hmm… I did not feel any different for the loading speed. But I do notice that Google Chrome is slower when handling flash with low processing power CPU.

I think Chrome looks ok, but at the moment it doesn’t give me any strong reason to prefer it over Firefox.

Many people said Chrome is faster in browsing but I hardly can feel the difference. Wouldn’t it be nice if there is something to measure the performance of the browser?

It is hard to benchmark browser speed because your network speed is counted too.
