Huh? Why am I getting a new Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 as replacement? Oh, if you read my previous post – Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 Preview and Help! My Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 does not perform well. You will get some ideas from there.

Basically, Microsoft sent a new Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 to me. I did not re-run a detail test with this mouse. However, this mouse sensor is better than the previous one that I have.
But… But… But… It still did not reach my standard that I expect from a Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse. Hmm…

It is still do not perform perfectly on piece of white paper. Still have some jerky movements. But it is better than the previous one.

But it really cannot perform well. Even a cheap China made laser mouse perform better than it.
Maybe some special mouse pad shoud be used?
I have the same mouse and the same problem…
Laser mouse should work without using any mouse pad. This is a known issue that Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 does not perform well on white surface.
