Razer Copperhead Gaming Mouse vs Logitech G5 Laser Mouse. These 2 gaming laser mouse are the best in class. Both of them are using the same laser optical sensor from Agilent. Logitech and Microsoft were my top 2 choices when come to keyboard and mouse. However, thing changed when I had a nightmare with Microsoft laser mouse, therefore Microsoft is out from my favorite list forever until Microsoft come out something that catch my eye. Razer is a new brand to me. Razer produces good quality gaming gears like mouse, keyboard and audio devices. You won’t be disappointed with Razer products when come into gaming. Most of the world top pro gamers choose Razer as their gear. Therefore, I am joining the pool too.

Both Razer Copperhead Gaming Mouse and Logitech G5 Laser Mouse have 2000dpi laser sensor, 1000Hz / 1ms response time, up to 45 inches per second and 20g of acceleration. They share the same price too. They are some different like Razer Copperhead Gaming Mouse has 7 mouse buttons while Logitech G5 Laser Mouse has 5 only. Razer Copperhead Gaming Mouse extra 2 buttons are duplicated because you hardly reach the other 2 buttons on the right if you are right handed. Those buttons are meant for left handed. On the other hand, Logitech G5 Laser Mouse is designed for right handed people only. But it has adjustable weight cartridge to put on the mouse. It will change the mouse weight to suit your need.

Personally, I don’t like Logitech G5 Laser Mouse outlook colour. I prefer Razer Copperhead Gaming Mouse outlook due to its coolness. But outlook is not so important than its sensor quality. Take Microsoft mouse as example… Microsoft mouse has good outlook but inside of it is totally suck. Microsoft laser technology can’t even work on a piece of white paper. I want a good gaming laser sensor. Which one should I choose?

  1. My Razer mouse died within the 2 year warranty, they replaced it, then the replacement failed within 6 months, and they won’t stand behind it now. Off to Logitech I go. They had their chance…

  2. I have had 2 G5 Laser mice, i cant get away from it my first one is still running i had to fix it myself though, but you cant blame the mouse for it not working, i slammed it down on my desk, and the wheel came loose so i had to repair that but it still works im using that one on my Hackint0sh at the moment, i am using the new 2 button g5 on my windows gaming machine, and i love it! i will never buy a razor im sorry =X it one was given to me then maybe, but as far as dishing out for one, no ill go logitech all the way i have been playing on logitech gaming mice for years starting with the old 310, they make very high quality mice and gaming equipment, you can never go wrong purchasing Logitech.
