I am using VLC player to play MKV format video all the while. However, I faced VLC Player block Chinese subtitle srt mkv issue. I cannot enable the Chinese subtitle to work even using UTF-8, GB or BIG5. I gave up in the end. However, my hope to play mkv video with Chinese subtitle show up again after CC told me this MpcStar.
