Kek Lok Si Temple, Penang is one of the famous places to visit during Chinese New Year. Ellen and I have to chance to go to Kek Lok Si Temple, Penang this year again. We went there before last year but that was before Chinese New Year and nothing much to see. Feel free to see the photos on that post and compare to the one here. The environment is different a lot ~ before and during Chinese New Year.

The way to Kek Lok Si Temple, Penang during Chinese New Year is long. It took us around 1 hour to go up Kek Lok Si Temple from bottom of the hill. For your info, it takes less than 5 minutes on normal period. There were a lot of cars and people going up. And not much parking up on the Kek Lok Si Temple too. Where should I park? Anyway, I went up there in not a happy mood because I am the driver. And I am still using old manual transmission Proton Wira. The sloping hill makes my old Proton Wira look like an old man. Hand brake is not working so well too. And no enough horse power to go up. I think it’s time to change a new car already.

Tired after driving up to Kek Lok Si Temple for 1 hour

Back to normal after 30 minutes

Yeah!!! Yeah!!!

Am I look cool?
