Menara Taming Sari which also known as Revolving Tower was opened on 18th April 2008. It was the first revolving “Gyro Tower” in Malaysia and was recorded in Malaysia Book of Records. You can see all the nice views of Malacca from this 110 meter tower. Among the interesting & historical sites is Banda Hilir, Dataran Pahlawan, Melaka Straits, TUDM museum, Stadthuys, Saint Pauls Peak, Independence Memorial, State Mosque and Melaka Island. The fee is RM 20.00 for adult and RM 10.00 for children.

By the way, Menara Taming Sari is located in the popular district of Bandar Hilir on Jalan Merdeka, only 3 minutes’ walk from Mahkota Parade Shopping Complex and Dataran Pahlawan Megamall. And it is named after the Taming Sari keris, a mythical weapon said to possess mystical powers belonging to the legendary Malay warrior, Hang Tuah.
