Acer neoTouch (F1) is the HTC HD2 cheapo alternative version. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD2850 1 GHz processor like HTC HD2. Using the same 480 x 800 pixels TFT touchscreen, 65K colours pixels but with resistive rather than capacitive in HTC HD2 and with smaller size 3.8 inches. So it is lighter too ~ 130 g. Besides, it has lesser RAM ~ 256MB RAM only and no FM radio support. Hardware specifications are about the same but with much lower price compare to HTC HD2. Of course, you won’t get the fancy interface like HTC TouchFLO 3D and HTC Sense in this Acer neoTouch ~ so less interactive. But Acer neoTouch comes with a stylus pen which good for Chinese character input.

With cheaper price, Acer NeoTouch is a nice mobile phone to get while waiting for Windows Mobile 7 to come out next year 2010 (or later, hope not). And it is not guarantee that HTC HD2 will get OS upgrade to Windows Mobile 7 when it releases. So picking up Acer neoTouch with Windows Mobile 6.5 as a temporary solution is not a bad choice.
