There are 2 type of petrol in Malaysia market right now ~ RON95 and RON97. Most of us are using RON92 and RON97 before 1 September 2009. But had to change to RON95 and RON97 now. RON95 is priced at RM1.80 per liter and RON97 at RM2.05 per liter.

RON95 vs RON97 ~ Which petrol do you use?
I tried to use RON95 for 1 month++. Basically, RON95 performs almost the same as RON97 on my 10 years old Proton Wira. No matter which type of petrol that I use, it also doesn’t have power.
Therefore, I choose the cheaper one ~ RON95.
How about you? Still using RON97 or switched to RON95 already?
I used both RON 97 and RON 95 but sadly RON 97 is difficult to find here. Most of the petrol stations here provide RON 95. So, I used RON 95 now.
Same here. Most of the petrol pumps are RON95 now. Only 1 or 2 pumps are RON97.
I pump RON95 now and frankly speaking it is causing my engine to become weaker
Used RON95 for 3 tanks.. then discovered that somehow the Swift doesn’t like it.. So, now I’m back with RON97
Based on RON95 car list, Suzuki Swift Sport does not support RON95. Need to pay for expensive petrol already.
Har? you serious ah??

Normal edition still can use RON95 but Sport edition cannot.
