YouTube is not working so well with TM Net Streamyx SLOW connection (throttling). I tried SpeedBit Video Accelerator but failed. I also tried Easy YouTube Video Downloader but it does not support multiple connections. Finally, Internet Download Manager comes to rescue.

The YouTube video above splits into 9 segments. And it reaches 188 KB/sec download speed which I hardly believe it’s true because I usually got 160 KB/sec max with my Streamyx connection. Anyway, it does do its job very well on downloading the FLV videos.
Head to Internet Download Manager website to download the trial version to test it for yourself. Too bad. Good stuff is not free. Any other tools that you use to download FLV video and it’s free?
I’m using IDM too!
A good tool for downloading!
yup. i also use IDM. haha..
Youtube is one of the best Web 2.0 service on the internet today. I really love watching music videos and funny video clips on Youtube.
Nice tool, currently i am using Youtube Downloader
Even when using tools, with the bad internet connection, it doesn’t really solve the problem, although it helps.
When can we get true broadband….
In 2010? Hmm… I don’t think so unless we change the monopoly rules. Else Malaysia broadband will always slower than others.
Nice, never tried this though. I use Flash Video Resources Downloader firefox add-on and it’s been very good to me.
Thanks for the tips. I don’t know that IDM can download youtube video. Will try it soon.
I use Chrome plugin with Chrome when I need to download a Youtube video instantly because it allow me to download other known format without leaving the page.
IDM is really awesome., I also suggest another software called Direct Download Manager , That can download rapidshare files too.
i am using IDM and it’s really cool
It’s not cheap at $24.95 USD but if it’s the best available I guess it’s worth the cost.
I got IDM full for free…it was kinda Hackish though…
