Download Siri intelligent assistant alternative for Android

Siri is the latest intelligent assistant for iPhone 4S. Too bad that Apple does not enable Siri on old generation iPhone 4 or iPhone 3S. It is just an application, right? Anyway, I am not going to get iPhone 4S anytime soon and will wait for iPhone 5 instead. And I do want to try out virtual intelligent assistant on smartphone. Speaktoit Assistant and Vlingo Virtual Assistant are the virtual intelligent assistant application that I tried so far. There is few more in Android Market now. Try all of them if you like…

Speaktoit Assistant

Speaktoit Assistant is a virtual buddy for your Android device that uses natural language technology to answer questions, find information, launch apps and connect you with various web services, such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, and many others. And works with your smartphone to get maps, search for news and images, look up weather reports, convert currency and measurements, send email, and much more…

My 2cents, virtual intelligent assistant still need to improve the voice recognition function. Or my English pronunciation is that bad. Speaking to Speaktoit Assistant is really fun and makes my day happy when she can’t understand me.

  2. Hi Jayce. Downloaded the app but it seems i can’t speak to the mic. Any idea how to activate it? Am using HTC HD2 CM7 Rom as well.

    • Hmm… I am also don’t know on CM7 HD2. No such issue with my Galaxy S2. But you still can click on ‘Tap to type’ then select mic. And say it then. More steps but it still work.

Maybe you can consult the developer see. 😉
