I have downloaded volume+ and enabled speakers, etc. but it has had no effect on volume of apps like netflix and pandora. Other bloggers have said that they can see a volume scale on these other apps, which I do not see. Is there something else I need to do to get this program running?

Yes. Both apps and kindle system on max volume. I do not see a volume adjustment area on the apps as other viewers have stated. Do I have to boot it up somehow?
