Miss stock Amazon Kindle Fire Keyboard after install CM7, MIUI ROM? You can install it back now if you wish too. Thanks to XDA Developer, Takenover83. All you need to do ~ replace existing LatinIME.apk with stock Kindle Fire LatinIME.apk with Root Explorer or ES File Explorer that has root access. Do make a backup of original LatinIME.apk first. Change LatinIME.apk permission to “rw-r–r–” after copied. Reboot Kindle Fire. That’s it.
Note – you might face force close issue when edit keyboard settings. Just change to other language like English (United States) will do. It helped me. Enjoy stock Kindle Fire Keyboard on custom Android ROM.
