Can someone explain me pls how is it better or different to 2.3.6? Even looks the same
Vlad, you got that right.!! I also don’t know what the fuss is about. It does not even look or feel or even perfect like 4.0.3 on Google Nexus and I have had a test run with Nexus already and know what is supposed to be knside ICS. Beside, it can not pickup gprs signal in Thailand, so no point in flashing it.
I know that Samsung has got Asian ICS done already but they are delaying the releases, why? I don’t know. If they can program firmwares for Nexus to be sold in most region then what is the delay for getting firmwares to other mobiles range? Does not make sense when they can prepare firmware to release at the same time as Google Nexus why not for other phones? Maybe to keep Sammobile or site like that in bizzz ha?
Nexus from google.. S2 from Samsung…
True But Google don’t make phones. So where are they getting the hardware made by?
Samsung made hardware, google made software
exactly. So why is Nexus from Google then, if they do not produce hardware?
Samsung Nexua prime is Google’s? If Google make their own phones why bother attaching Samsung’s commercial logo with the Nexus. Would not it be profitable for Google just to have Google Nexus On it?
I can bet you right now for a new Google Nexus, that even when they officially release the d… ICS, it won’t be foolproof. I am sure there will be a catch or some miss coding line. Who knowa they might even delayed the remease for 2 or 3 more months. We might be getting it in late 2nd quarter! Don’t forget that Google is waging marketting war with iOS which they won’t beat them because Apple still hold the high cards.
Dear Jayce Can You Please Tell Me That Is This Rom Works Or Not In India ??
Sorry, no idea as I do not live in India.
hi there….

Recently updated samsung galaxy s2 to 4.0.3 now usb not working? HELP!?
recently updated samsung galaxy s2 to 4.0.3 now this happens below
I can’t connect even with debugging mode turned on. before my PC would recognize the tablet’s two drives immediately and mount them. now no matter what I do, I cannot get them recognized. I don’t ave any other way to connect the sd card to my computer to change to a different firmware, so I feel stuck. is there anyway to reformat the card from the tablet or some setting i’m missing??
I get no recognition from either the tablet or my laptop that the USB cable is plugged in.
Windows cannot recognise my fone as a usb storage or an android phone, I have the drivers installed already on pc
You can install firmware through Odin which does not need SD card.
yes i have tried putting it in downloade mode, but odin doesnt even recognise my phone on any usb COM port
Look like that you need to try on other PC. Or format your Windows then try again.

Hello Mr. Jayce:
I would like to ask you that. Is there any method to upgrade SGS II firmware via Samsung Kies by selecting firmware which we downloaded ready and no need to download again and again? And between using Ordin and Samsung Kies, which on is better?
Thank you in advance for ur kindness.
Sanal Ry
No with Samsung Kies but Odin can. To me, Odin is better.
Thank you for your reply. 🙂
I have installed it, but sont think it apply to it. How do I remove the program from my phone?
Remove what program?
The “CF-Root-SGS2_XW_NEE_KI8-v4.3-CWM4.tar”.

Will it make it possible to download updates in Norway?
Yes, just install Norway firmware (if have).
Than you, it worked.
Could u help me with something else?
My kernel verson now is “2.6.35.7-I9100XWKI8-CL616395root@DELL149 # 2”.
I can’t remember if that was the original one. Do you believe it is a root?
I have searched and downloaded a new kernel ready to instal: “Kernel_I9100XWKI8”
Could that more possibly be the original?
No, unless you root it manually.
No idea…
ics not instaling on my galaxy s2 coz kies was there……how to over come this problem?????
Just close Samsung Kies before use Odin in this case.
Hi there, i need info.
I’m using SGS2 2.3.6v 2.6.35.7-I9100DXKL3-CL814816root@DELL137 #2″ it rooted.
My problem is the phone it can reboot itself or when ever i change the phone battery and start up it can keep reboot for few times or when i reboot the phone it can keep on and on rebooting and sometime it keep on rebooting untill the phone battery getting very low to 13%?
I thought of flashing back again the same CFW with mobileOdin.
What info do you want?
Why the phone keep on rebooting?
does some software could cause the rebooting?
can i or should i reflash the phone with the same CFW again with mobileOdin?
Hard to tell. You can try restore to stock firmware. Factory reset it. If issue still happen, then it is hardware issue.
