  1. Do you now or the back light sensor goes out in the AOKP ICS 4.0.4
Can you let me no when it is fixed.

  2. Hi Jayce, this rom is great. The location service on the KF via WiFi is not working. Trying to watch live sports but it needs a location. Any way to make this work on this rom? A different rom? Thanks! You are very helpful.

  3. Hi Jayce, thanks for you information on all the Kindle´s tweaks. I just installed the latest build of the gedeRom running android 4.0.4, the buld itself is from April 13th. So far everything is great except for the fact that I can´t get my computer to read my Kindle Fire as a usb mass storage device. What´s more it says it´s a Galaxy Nexus. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks a lot, have a good night!

    • Latest build v1.7 is based on 26-6-2012. Anyway, I don’t have USB mass storage issue on this ROM. Did you install Kindle Fire Utility USB driver previously?

      • My bad, I was mistaken. I do actually have the one released on 26-6-2010 and I downloaded it from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1619550.

Apparently the issue was that usb debugging was on. So I turned it off and now it works perfectly. What I am trying to do now is erasing as much bloatware to see if I can free up some memory. Do you have any suggestions as to which I can erase with Titanium backup? Also I noticed Apex and Trebuchet are the default launchers, but can we run ics stock? I am using Go Launcher but I want to find the best launcher that also uses the least resources.

I pulled an all-nighter but I am very happy with how things are working now. Thanks a lot for your help Joyce!
