Android 4.1 Jelly Bean ROM on Samsung Galaxy S II? Don’t put so much hope that you will get a fully loaded official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean firmware for Samsung Galaxy S2. Mostly we can get a value pack version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean firmware just like Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich firmware for Samsung Galaxy S. And when to release is another question. Thanks to Android platform openness and Samsung unlocked bootloader. We can enjoy Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on Samsung Galaxy S2 now. It is alpha version. So expect bugs flying around. No worry, future version will be stable and able to be used on daily basis.
Components that are working now ~ LED flash, SD card (internal-only), MTP (can’t copy files), ADB, vibration, SuperUser, GSM, network data and logcat. Not working ~ Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, camera, Google Now, Google Search, audio… You can give Android 4.1 Jelly Bean ROM a try on your Samsung Galaxy S2 if you are an adventurer. Else wait for stable build few months later. Use below installation guide as reference. And do check out XDA website for more information.

Sorry sidhartha, didn’t try Jelly Bean on my SGS2 yet. No idea. Try to consult others at XDA website.
Is the jellybean 4.1 still in alpha version for s2?
There are several Jelly Bean ROMs at XDA website now. Not sure stable or not because I did not try them. You can try them if you want.
