As usual, you can install other region I9100 firmware on your SGS2 as long as the model is match as I9100 (Note – you can’t install this I9100 firmware on I9100G model). I9100G users have to wait for a little bit longer…

Try factory reset to have a fresh start. If still have battery drain, downgrade back to previous firmware with Odin then.

However, now after trying so many of them, I wanted to go back to the original factory firmware and opt for OTA updates for my region. Hard to say because you should not have Wi-Fi issue on ICS.
I read in order forum other users mention they are facing the same problem since they update to ics 4.0.3. Some of them have to change the motherboard because the wifi chip spoiled.
Just check with Samsung Support in this case.

It’s just happen like that only. I do factory reset it settle my problem from the beginning but it come back again then I try reset the second time it very difficult to get connect then the 3rd and 4th totally can’t connect anymore.
Look like hardware issue in this case. Maybe it’s time for you to change a new smartphone…

Hi tonakis, please make a full CWM backup first. Then try out the new combination. If anything went wrong, you can go back easily.
New ROM need factory reset. Upgrade no need.

Hi vanessa, bootloader should not have any effect which Android version that you install. I have no issue using old bootloader on new Jelly Bean.

Just wanna share that my Celcom Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 was pushed with an official 4.1.2 JellyBean update just earlier today; baseband version I9100DXLS8.
Just a very quick and dirty initial impression, does feel marginally slower than 4.0.4.

Note that this picture is very clear ,however the sample picture that i have posted before has white shade in whole picture .While 2nd picture(that i am posting now) is clear.
Maybe you can try to use back firmware that camera is working fine.
I have tried that do by flashing gingerbrid but the result was same so i switched back to jelly bean again.
Also its not firmware problem.It is somehow related with exposure . Reducing the exposure reduces this white shade but causes darkness problem . I have no idea to solve it as I have tried to replace the camera to.
Could it be due to lens problem. I mean misplaced lens from correct place or something like that?
Can you suggest me any solution to this problem?
If not software issue, then it’s hardware. I don’t know how to solve it unless Samsung Support changes a new one for you.
