Google Nexus 4 is powered by 2100 mAh battery. It has the same battery size as Samsung Galaxy S3. But Nexus 4 battery is non-removable just like HTC One X, iPhone 5… Therefore, you can’t simple use backup battery like Galaxy S3. 3G data connection is turned on all the time instead of Wi-Fi connection on my Nexus 4 (enable WCDMA only in Network mode). With minimum usage (during Chinese New Year holidays), it can last for more than 1 day. Thanks to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean battery optimization as you can see there are very few awake events.
