One case of Samsung Galaxy S4 bursts while charging is nothing (link). But another case (link) happen in the very same month is something that you want to take note as a Galaxy S4 user. Ya right, it is still a very very small percentage compare to millions Galaxy S4 out there. To me, I won’t take it lightly.
Not sure which model of Galaxy S4 that have this kind of issue – international version GT-I9500 or GT-I9505, US version SGH-I337, SGH-M919, SCH-I545, SPH-L720 or SCH-R970. Or all of them? Thing to do… Never charge smartphone near something that is easily flammable. It might happen to other model of electronic devices that have battery as well. Prevention is always better than cure…

Was it on warranty? I hope it was.
Samsung usually replace a new unit for this kind of issue.
well the GS4 is less then a year old so it should be in warranty
