Finally, I got my HTC HD2 from SiS Distribution (M) Sdn. Bhd. at last after waiting for more than 1 month. HTC HD2 was out of stock at most of the places in Malaysia. I kept after my dealer every week and got response that still no stock from SiS Distribution (M) Sdn. Bhd. Come on, is the sales that good or this HTC HD2 has production yield issue? Okay, let’s other answer that. And I will unbox it now.

Yeah… HTC HD2 pink colour camera issue has official hotfix now. HTC called this hotfix as HTC HD2 – Digital Picture Enhancement. “This update for HTC HD2 delivers clear digital picture quality like never before. Living up to the name of “HD” this phone and its twin LED flash will take beautiful pictures for you to cherish your memories. Displayed in brilliant vibrant colors on its 4.3 inch screen, HTC HD2 camera will delight you.”
So am I happy now? Nope. Why? The pink colour camera issue was fixed. But I still don’t have HTC HD2 yet. No stock everywhere. Come on, SiS Distribution (M) Sdn. Bhd. I want my HTC HD2. For those happy HTC HD2 owners, do download this hotfix from HTC website.

Oh no… This is not good. The pink colour camera issue is every where even with Malaysia latest HTC HD2 units (ROM : 1.48.707.2 (71294) WWE). However, most of new owners are very happy with their HTC HD2.
By the way, just in case that you did not get the latest update. HTC support mentioned that the camera issue is caused by software, not hardware. A hotfix is in progress to solve this issue. But when is the question. Should I get my HTC HD2 now? Or wait until this camera issue is solved?
This is not good. A lot of HTC HD2 owners in Europe reported that their HTC HD2 camera has issue ~ there’s a huge band of red in the center of the photos (List of victims). Malaysia HTC HD2 lovers will need to be careful when buying their unit on earliest 25th November 2009. Make sure that you take some shots before you pay for it.
