There is a UV filter on all my lens. Always attach a filter on expensive lens. If you knock something in the front lens, the filter will act a protector. It is cheaper to replace the filter than repair the lens itself. Therefore, I have B+W 82 XS-Pro UV MRC-Nano 010M Filter on my Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Zoom Lens. And always attach the best in class filter as you don’t want to degrade any image quality of your precious lens, right?

Yes, the wait is over. Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Zoom Lens is attached to my Canon EOS 5D Mark III finally. Had another big hole in the pocket again. Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Zoom Lens will be the general zoom lens on my full frame SLR camera 5D Mark III. Perfect for group, portrait and landscape photo. However, it is heavy for travel. Picture quality vs. mobility ~ which one do you prefer?
