CyanogenMod 7 Android ROM for HTC HD2 is getting better each day. Thanks to all the developers that making these wonderful builds. Here is another great release from XDA Developer, pongster. It is based on CyanogenMod 7 final stable version (Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread) and using Tytung r9 Kernel which supports unique Bluetooth MAC address, Bluetooth auto-reconnect and two-way call recording. And should not have first call robotic voice issue too.
As usual, I changed it LCD density to 240 because I don’t like the default 167 density. Make sure that you change ro.sf.lcd_density=167 to 240 at build.prop (system folder) before you install the ROM if you want normal screen density.

next error msg is ( process com.android.htc contacts)

appreciate your assistance.
Seem like your Android OS is corrupted. Try to backup all applications and settings with Titanium Backup. And reinstall Android ROM again.
Hi Jayce,
Thanks for your advise.
After I backup at titanium backup, can I restore at other’s rom?
which rom that you recommend as currently the mdeejay evo sense matted that I am using now was recommended from your previous post.
Thanks a lot.

Sorry, I have no idea because I don’t have this game.
What are the exact steps to upgrade to HyperDroid CM7. I have:
Android 2.2.1
Baseband 15.42.50.11U-2.15.50.14
kernel 2.6.32.15-prjv3
Build Jaws-MIUI
You will need to install ClockworkMod Recovery if you don’t have. Please refer to the installation guide.
how do you zip the folder after you changed ro.sf.lcd_density=167 to 240 at build.prop ?
I zip it using os x Lion and put in SD, then the “installation aborted”
Please kindly advise. Thanks for your help.
I edit it with 7-Zip on Windows.
Is it the same if I “su” > “vi /system/build.prop” in terminal after the flashed?
Not sure. I did not use terminal. I just use root explorer to edit it directly after flashed.
