MIUI ROM on Kindle Fire performs almost the same as CM7 ROM. You can play around with lot of themes and lockscreens as I mentioned. However, I still don’t recommend MIUI ROM on Kindle Fire until it has tablet features. MIUI does not have tablet soft buttons like CyanogenMod 7. Button Savior comes to help here though. Finally, the deal breaker for me ~ no MP4 video hardware codec. I can’t play 1080p music video that I like on MIUI 1.12.29. Hopefully, future MIUI ROM will support it…

Hey Jayce I fixed it I backed up my sister kindle and put her back up on mine and restored it then I tried this Rom again and it worked!!
I really like this Rom so far no problems I highly recommend this Rom
