PPTV is another one of my favorite online streaming video players which use P2P technology on PC. It is almost similar to PPS TV. And I just know that it has Android version after searching around. How is the video quality and performance? Is it the same as the PC version? Let’s find out…
Hehe… PPTV for Android is almost like a ‘junk’ application on my HTC HD2. PPTV PC version is much much much better than Android version. There is no category (year, type and region) selection for each channel like TV series or movie. Furthermore, I only manage get 1 out of 20+ attempts to play it. Either it just hang there loading forever or force close prompt show up. I really cannot play anything from it. By the way, the PPTV version that I am using is version 1.0.10. So until it upgrade to newer version, I am not going to have it on my phone. Will going to look for a better online streaming video player when I got my Samsung Galaxy S II. 😛

I’m thinking of getting an ipad for my grandma for her to watch PPS and PPTV on TV. Right now, I have a PC laptop connected to the TV but I’d like something simpler for her to use.
How well can you get PPS and PPTV on the ipad to stream (wired or wireless) to a TV? At full 1080p resolution?
