Google Nexus 4 Benchmark

Google Nexus 4 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and Adreno 320 GPU with 28nm process technology. Since it is a newer processor, does it better and faster than older Nvidia Tegra 3 and Samsung Exynos 4 Quad processors? Let’s find out based on these benchmark scores. By the way, I did not change anything on Nexus 4. So everything is stock which using latest Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean firmware and kernel. And will run the all the benchmarks again after modify it…

Benchmark scores do not mean everything. As long as Nexus 4 is performing smoothly, I have no complaint. However, it does have one known issue ~ performance will degrade when overheat (if you read other Nexus 4 review, you will know). Yes, all the benchmarks will score lower when Nexus 4 is hot. The stock kernel must lower its CPU speed frequency to avoid overheat. However, it won’t affect daily usage but you might notice some slowness on intensive 3D games…
