after rooting can i update the phone’s firmware via kies? and will i lose root status after the firmware update?

    • Custom kernel does not support Kies. CF-Auto-Root does. Yes, root access will be removed after firmware upgrade.

      • bibon27

so if i root using CF-Auto-Root I can still get updates from KIES? so CF-Auto-Root only gives root privilege to the phone and everything else will remain stock?
