Err… I start to hate HTC One X. HTC is not the company that produce great smartphone like before. HTC HD2 is the best smartphone from HTC that I own. HTC One X really cannot keep up the standard that HTC HD2 set (or maybe other company like Samsung is pushing up the standard). I found another issue on my HTC One X. Yes, latest HTC One X issue ~ Bluetooth connectivity. I always listen to MP3 while washing my car. Connected to Sony Ericsson MW600. No issue with Samsung Galaxy S II. But HTC One X faces skipping, get disconnected and signal loss issues. And have poor Bluetooth coverage range too. Is this firmware issue or hardware issue?

How bout other different Bluetooth makers?
Did your X get heated on the back especially the top part area surrounds the camera and flash when continuously video shooting and photo taking?
Did not try other brand Bluetooth device.

yup… i’m starting to regret getting my unit too… i noticed that i can’t reconnect to internet after i come off wifi although de signal is showing H+, that’s not all… signal strength is also poorer than my hd2, plus some on/off blinking pixel when screen is dark… not to mention overheating (my phone can’t detect my sim card when the temperature goes above 50’C), and poor battery life. when i call htc, they asked me to reboot my phone to factory settings to see it the problem disappears… if it doesn’t, then send it to them… doesn’t that sound like a terrible advice…
you’re my guru since my hd2 days… do u have any suggestions? will flashing to custom roms solve any of these problems?
Hi Soo, get 1 to 1 exchange from HTC. I don’t have SIM card disconnect issue when overheating.

Followed your instructions and called HTC support, after some setting adjustments anda reboot all is working fine. 🙂

i have mw600 & one x but have problem when i use mw600 when calling & listen too music if i far my one x (put in my poket ) i have noise & disconecting i change my mw600 & use andor bt head set & have this problem & i dont khown what do u do please help me
Change to another Android phone. HTC One X Bluetooth has hardware issue (but HTC said no issue).
I tested the HTC One X with Sony Ericsson MW600 Bluetooth = about 8 feet (5 meter)
Samsung galaxy s2 and s3 with Sony Ericsson MW600 Bluetooth = more than 45 feet (30 meters)
The test was made in a factory with open floor plan.

I thought I was the only one!!!! No, it’s not a hardware problem, they stink! My bluetooth earpiece turns off and on about 11-12 times daily. Yes, it’s sucking the life out of me. I have purchased 3 different brands of blue-tooth devices, exact same thing. Great when you’re on a business call, and it acts up 2 or 3 times in the span of 30 minutes. I almost threw phone into the lake by our house last week. That’s not all either. My keyboard decides it doesn’t want to work when I try to text or go online, at least 3 times a week. I have rebooted this phone endlessy since I purchased it 2 months ago. Downloading apps? Half of the widgets don’t open up on the homescreen. I just returned from a “once in a lifetime” trip to Alaska. I took over 500 pictures. Ya’ know the commercial for the One X, showing the skydivers taking pictures? Yeah, right…the camera sucks. That or maybe, since the other people in my party had Apple I-Phones, they simply took better pictures…(don’t kid yourself, these cameras are good for about 30 ft.) I have gone through about 8 Android phones, including the Bionic and the Thunderbolt, and people hear me now, BRING ON THE I-PHONE 5!!!!!!! I AM READY TO CONVERT OVER TO THE OTHER SIDE!!!! I AM DONE WITH aNDROID!!!! It doesn’t matter what brand either, just hold your phone up to an I-Phone…

Just read on another forum that this fixes it:
The MW600 can only connect to 3 devices at a time. Clear the past pairing on the MW600 device.
From the MW600 User Guide:
To reset the headset
1 Make sure the headset is turned off.
2 Press and hold down power button until the pairing indication appears.
3 Simultaneously press and hold down power button and call button until the headset turns off.
I couldn’t get my OneX and MW600 to pair so I tried reseting the MW600. My HTC OneX then found the device straight away and they paired. Problem solved (well, one of them at least).
