Taking screenshot is like ABC on Android device nowadays. Same apply to Xiaomi Redmi 1S. It supports the Google Android method ~ Volume Down + Power Buttons. And it has own way too. Basically, all the smartphones that use MIUI ROM support that method. You should know it after went through the pre-installed user guide.

There is only a very simple quick start guide bundled along with Xiaomi Redmi 1S. No user manual can be found on the Mi Malaysia website too. Same apply to official Xiaomi China website. No worry, there is a pre-installed user guide in the smartphone. Mine was deleted and cannot be recovered due to a bug (will cover this in the future) in latest Malaysia ROM v36. Seem like the user guide is not in the ROM at all. Anyway, you can find lot of guides in MIUI Forum.

Wow… I got my mom’s Redmi 1S yesterday. The delivery is fast. I was hoping to get it on Saturday but FedEx didn’t show up. Surprise!!! FedEx delivered it on Sunday. I thought Sunday is not a working day for both FedEx and UPS. Guess that I was wrong. Based on Mi Malaysia website, you should get Xiaomi product within 6-8 working days after paid. Guess that I am a little bit lucky. My sister who ordered Redmi Note should receive hers today because the package is on FedEx vehicle for delivery as of 12:22pm.

Samsung Galaxy Note Series is the actual flagship smartphone from Samsung. Yes, Galaxy S is just a testing playground for them. Once again, Galaxy Note 4 is equipped with powerful hardware and great features. For example, 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440) Super AMOLED display with 2.5D glass screen. Powered by latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 CPU with Adreno 420 GPU (or Exynos 5433 with Mali-T760). Finally, 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilization is here. Good for selfie 3.7 MP front camera is upgraded too. Of course, you get enhanced S Pen as well. Not to mention, the TouchWiz software too. Everything seems good except, they downgraded the USB connection from 3.0 to 2.0. A big letdown for those use cable to transfer data a lot.
Xiaomi always sold their products in minutes. But lasts for more than 5 hours this round. Yes, both Redmi 1S – 5,000 sets and Redmi Note – 10,000 sets are still available for Malaysia buyers at the time of writing this. Somemore, they are bundled with freebies like headphones, cover, battery… Weird, everyone is waiting for iPhone 6? Or Galaxy Note 4? Or xiaomi system has problem?
