To buy or not to buy Galaxy Note 3?

Are you going to buy Samsung Galaxy Note 3? Yes, it is loaded with lot of new features and goodies. Of course, with new hardware upgrade too. You will get faster CPU and GPU. Just like Galaxy S4, you get to choose LTE 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and 3G Samsung Exynos 5420 processor. Loaded with 3GB RAM and Full HD Super AMOLED (1920 x 1080) display. Just wondering is PenTile effect can be seen on 5.7″ screen? 13 MP camera with Smart Stabilization (optical?) and UHD 30fps video recording. 4K video finally but which model will get it? UHS microSD card slot should be supported too this time because USB 3.0 is the new standard for Galaxy Note 3. And loaded with new S Pen features. Of course, it has all the Galaxy S4 stuffs too.

Yeah… I have the fastest Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005

Wow… My Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 is the fastest. Rank no 4 in the global ranking of AnTuTu Benchmark. Hehe… I was just lucky back then. 36736 is the highest score on stock firmware. Usually getting around 35K only. Basically, AnTuTu Benchmark is overwhelmed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 devices now. Yes, the no 1 is using Sony Xperia Z1. 2nd is Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (China version). 3rd is XiaoMi 3 (I doubt it is NVIDIA Tegra 4 version). And mine at no 4 with Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005. 5th is LG Optimus S G2…

I have to babysit my little price while everyone else is gone. To keep me entertain, I always connect Samsung Galaxy S4 to TV through MHL 2.0 HDTV Adapter. Watch TV series, music video, movie and anime then. However, it consume some battery life while leave the screen on even with lowest brightness. Luckily, there is a free Android application that can help. Yes, Screen Standby is the one. It can turn off Galaxy S4 screen without putting it to sleep. Therefore, applications like YouTube, PPS TV can continue to play without screen on. Work on games too. It helps to save battery life and avoid it from overheating too. Isn’t that great? Okay, here is the catch. It requires root access.
