Customize your Galaxy devices a lot? You will want to try out Wanam Xposed then. It is a free Android application that can tweak lot of stock Samsung TouchWiz Android 4.2+ firmware. Yes, it is still workable on custom ROM as well. I am using it on Galaxy S4 custom ROM now. Here are some examples of the useful features that it brings – Call recording, 4 ways reboot (Reboot, Recovery, Hotboot and Download), secured Samsung keyboard, long back key to kill app, force disable camera shutter… Good stuffs are not free. It requires root access and Xposed Framework 2.2. Trust me, it worth the price.

How is Samsung Galaxy Note 3 battery life? In short, great. With 3,200 mAh battery, it can’t go wrong, right? Yes if the software and hardware are performing well. Galaxy Note 3 is loaded with latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Hopefully, Android 4.4 KitKat is coming out soon. So no issue with software part. As for hardware, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 28nm HPm process technology helps to save battery life too. So here is the result that I have on SM-N9005.

How to write to MicroSD on Android 4.4 KitKat?

Google does not like you to use external Micro SD card on your Android devices. Therefore, you won’t see SD card slot on Google Nexus devices. And starting Android 4.4 KitKat, Google removes the ability to write files to MicroSD card. So your newly installed applications are stuck with internal storage. No worry, SDFix is able to help to solve this issue. So your Samsung Galaxy S4, Note 3 will be working fine as before. However, root access is required.

Yes… Google Nexus 7 (2013) is in the house. It is not for sales at lot of places yet. So this unit came from US. Initial seller couldn’t make it on time, so I ended up getting from my previous 1st generation seller again. The availability and price of Nexus 7 (2013) at Malaysia? It should come in the middle of September or later. So don’t bother to get it from US if you can wait. As for the price, it should be RM999 for 16GB Wi-Fi and RM1099 for 32GB Wi-Fi (based on 1st gen pricing). No news about LTE version yet.
