Wow… SLR camera is fun. It took me quite some time to familiar with all its functions. The camera is great but the lens suck.
I like the SLR speed. With its 3fps capturing speed, I can capture anything I want without miss a shot then. However, this only apply on sunny day on outdoor due to the poor EF-S 18-55mm lens. Photo will be blurred if taken indoor. Can’t wait to go for better lens. Anyway, photo is considered good if taken outdoor. I have 1 example at Jayce Ooi’s Photo Gallery for the moment. Cannot take much shot with 32MB CF card. (I cannot find CF card in most the computer shop in Penang nowadays. They sell SD card mostly.) Still waiting for 2GB 120X CF card. Then, I will take more photo and upload those beautiful one.
SLR camera high ISO does not produce much noise than normal digital camera. This is one of the advantage of SLR camera. Noise only visible on 800 (very little) and 1600 on Canon EOS 400D. Higher ISO is useful in low light condition. It will help to capture more light due to high sensitive ISO. However, better use a better lens with IS (Image Stabilizer) and low ISO to have no noise photo. Lens is the most important part in SLR camera. Therefore, better get yourself a better lens.
I don’t like is using the small viewfinder when take shot. I have been familiar with taking shot with large LCD screen. Sudden change to a small viewfinder is hard. After few days of practice, I get used to it already. Besides that, weight it another thing that you face when start using SLR camera. It is a lot heavier than normal digital camera. My SLR still weight less than 1kg due to the light weight lens. However, it will surely more than 1kg if using better lens. Looking forward for that. =)
I brought Intel E6300 at discounted price last month. I meantion it on my last few post. It shiped from US to Malaysia within 1 week. It was fast. However, the other part that I ordered in Penang weren’t here yet after 1 month of ordering… Pity… I got motherboard and DVD-RW drive on thursday while display card and casing on Saturday. I go for Gecube X1950Pro 256MB instead of HIS X1950Pro IceQ3 Turbo due availablity issue. Hmm… Sad… I hate that my schedule is keep pushing out. I planned to setup this PC last week. Then, I can play Command & Conquer 3 already. However, I still far far away from it now. I got only less than 2 weeks time to play with this PC until my brother get it back. Therefore, I need to rush for it. No matter what!!! 
Ha… Ha… Ha… I am disappointed with Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II. It produces a low quality image, poor contrast and colour. Not sharp at all. Can’t use it at all in indoor without flash. Even with internal flash also produce poor image.
This is my first SLR camera. I did not expect the image that I took look even worst than my Canon PowerShot A700. Never go for the kit lens if you have extra money. It has poor resolution. However, you cannot ask for more with RM350 price tag. Anyway, it is a very cheap lens.
Planned to get Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM as my first portrait lens. Then, will get an external flash. =)
This is windows application code. It will auto delete all the folders in the selected path but exclude those list in the defined text file. Before it delete, it will make a copy to backup folder. However, backup folder will be deleted upon this application start.

I got my first SLR camera. Yeah!!! Thanks God for give me such a great gift. I Bought Canon EOS 400D Digital for RM2650. This the cheapest price I can find. Some offer RM2699 and RM2799. I asked for RM2600 but deal not done. After wondering several shops, I bought it finally. =)
