Samsung Galaxy S III is on my hand at last. After waited for 1 week, I got myself a Samsung Galaxy S3 from Celcom finally. No pebble blue Samsung Galaxy S3 for me as it was out of stock. So I took marble white. Don’t want to wait anymore. Marble white Samsung Galaxy S3 can take lot of colour casings. And it is good to make comparison to white HTC One X.
Samsung Galaxy S3 is Samsung flagship Android smartphone of year 2012. But it is not perfect. Wish that it is equipped with HD Super AMOLED Plus display. I really don’t like PenTile display. But it does not stop lot of people to become a happy Samsung Galaxy S3 user.

No worry, will unlock my HTC One X bootloader after I send back to 1 to 1 exchange. Then will post lot of HTC One X articles too. Can’t do much without unlock bootloader.
Ahh you will get used to the Pentile screen. It’s not that bad actually.
HTC One X full RGB screen is still better than Galaxy S3 PenTile screen. Especially on texts. 😛

For phone only, Samsung Galaxy S3 sure wins here. But Asus PadFone has the ability to turn into tablet and dock with keyboard station. It all depend what you need.

Just bought S3. S Voice seem not working i.e, Network error all the time!!!
Make sure that Internet connection is working fine. Mine has no issue.
Internet already working fine. Speed is fairly acceptable for browsing.

S3 using pentile display? i thought it was using super amoled HD?
Yes. It is using HD Super AMOLED but no Plus (like Galaxy S2).
Why the mobile network on S3 will always lost after restart the phone only will get back the signal. Please help. Thanks.
Hi Ong, this not normal. Please consult Samsung Support for help. Your SGS3 hardware might have issue.
Sorry maybe my question is not clear. Is not the phone signal just the 3g internet signal when driving from place to place. Most of my friend also having the same problem. Is this digi problem or S3 problem?
Then it is DiGi issue. DiGi does not have good 3G coverage in certain area. You don’t have issue with 2G connection, right?
Yes. But when i reach the area with good coverage the mobile network will not auto come out i need to restart my phone then only will get back H signal. Thanks.
Or you can force in 3G mode always. Go to Settings – More settings – Mobile networks – Network mode == WCDMA only.

Change to other telco that have better 3G coverage. 😉
I am facing the same problem as well with my HOX and I am using Maxis. Planning to reset to factory default this week.
Too bad I still have two years contract ;( But other telco also poor coverage in this area, unless change job.
No choice. Stay with Wi-Fi + 2G then. 🙂

It’s been a while since I posted from your HD2 Android articles and thanks again for all your help. I want to try this Samsung Galaxy S3 but my dilemma is the warranty. I’m currently in the US and I want the international quad core version and I heard that some customers encountered problem with S3 usually with wifi. Do you think I should wait for newer models of S3 or go with the purchase now since having a chance of faulty S3 is minimal? Most likely I will purchase in Amazon. Any idea on where can I purchase S3?
