xda-developer, iamgpc updated his PureGingerbread build to version 1.7. This version added ClockworkMod Recovery and APP2SD+ since my last tried on this NAND build. It is based on Android 2.3.2 Gingerbread AOSP and using gpc#226 Kernel.

Normal SD card Android development is slowing down after NAND Android and Windows Phone 7 came out. However, there is a way to run Android on SD card with NAND Android or Windows Phone 7 installed on your phone. It can be done with the help of SD MAGLDR Android ROM. Normal SD card Android cannot run on current MAGLDR without modification. However, most of the SD Android ROM chefs do not support it officially. And left only few that current still developing and supports it through SD MAGLDR method. Here are the top 3 SD MAGLDR Android ROMs that I tried based on CyanogenMod 7, HTC Desire Z and HTC Desire HD builds.
NAND Android with ClockworkMod Recovery and A2SD+ is the best Android ROM for HTC HD2. NAND Android is better than SD card Android because it uses less battery power and noticeable faster. ClockworkMod Recovery eases to restore and backup while A2SD+ solves less internal storage issue on HTC HD2 by installing applications on SD card. CyanogenMod 7, Stock MIUI, HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire builds, pick you that you love…

SD card Android is not finished yet. Thanks to several xda-developers like copenhagen. They are still making Android ROM for SD card. Copes CyanogenMod 7 SD MAGLDR Android ROM is one of them. It is based on Android 2.3.2 Gingerbread and using AmeriCanAndroid HK853+ Kernel. And good news ~ it is runnable on MAGLDR. Perfect combination with Windows Phone 7 (for those still use it).

CyanogenMod 7 is everywhere… Here is another CyanogenMod 7 NAND Android A2SD+ Zip ROM from xda-developer, tyween ~ TyphooN CyanogenMod 7. It is updated with latest nightly to keep up with the latest fixes. So it is based on latest Android 2.3.2 Gingerbread and using Rafpigna v1.5 OC Kernel. By the way, I started to use MAGLDR v1.13 and ClockworkMod Recovery v1.3 from this build onward. But they should not be any different with previous version.
