Yeah, I am using Android on HTC HD2 all day long now. Starting to dump Windows Mobile and using Android from now on. I am still using some Windows Mobile applications like Garmin Mobile XT thou. So I am starting to start new chapter on Android HTC HD2. The first thing to do ~ Download HTC Sync 3.0.

Finally, I can use Mdeejay eVo Sense rEVOlution Android ROM on my HTC HD2 now. Version 2.0 fixed the x-xxx-xxx-xxx dialing issue. I cannot make any call without this fix. Besides, he also added 5MP HTC Camera with preview. By the way, you are going to like the new added transitions animations too.

Short battery life is one of the issues on HTC HD2 no matter in Windows Mobile or Android. There is Touch X battery indicator with 1% increments for Windows Mobile. And here is another one for Android ~ Circular battery Indicator with %. And no root is required.

There are different kernel build for Android HTC HD2. The kernel developers continue to improve it and release every few days. However, the ROM chefs might not update their build. So we have to do it ourselves. Actually, it is not hard and really simple to upgrade the kernel. Just cut and paste…
