Beats Audio is the best feature on latest HTC smartphones now. However, you can enjoy Beats Audio on old generation HTC smartphones like HTC HD2 too. Just install Beats Audio on HTC Sense ROM will do. Personally, I don’t prefer HTC Sense ROM anymore because it is slower than CM7 and MIUI ROM on HTC HD2. But this Beats Audio makes me to try it again. So I have HTC Sensation XL ROM on my HTC HD2 now…

If you still own HTC HD2, Android should be the operating system on it instead of old Windows Mobile 6.5. And the good news, there are still lot of developers working hard to develop Android ROM for HTC HD2. TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 is one of them. And it is based on latest Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread GWK74 and using latest Tytung r12.4 Kernel. Besides, it is equipped with latest SuperUser 3.0 and new Android Market 3.1.5 too. And I like the new ring lockscreen style in CM7.

It is based on Android 2.3.5 and using HTC Sense 3.0. I like his Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM, how about his Android ROM? Let’s find out…

CyanogenMod 7 should be the best Android ROM for HTC HD2 (MIUI too). It is faster than HTC Sense builds. Besides, it is smaller in size too so you can have more internal storage disk space. HyperDroid v3 is based on CyanogenMod 7.1.0 RC0 (Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread) and using seader_R5 Kernel. As usual, it has strange LCD density. It increased to 192 from 167 DPI on v3 which is better but might still be small for certain people like me. Personally, the smallest DPI that I can accept on HTC HD2 is 220…
