Yeah… It’s time to go to night market at Jonker Walk, Malacca. You need to go there on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 6.00pm to 12.00 midnight. Else you can’t see anything. :P There are lot of stalls that sell unique arts and crafts, souvenirs, jewelry, and wooden clogs. And you can enjoy delicious food and entertainment over there. It is a great place to hang out during the weekend night.

Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum, Malacca is another place that we did not manage to take any photo. Why? Because they don’t allow. Simple as that. :P By the way, Baba and Nyonya are also known as the Straits Chinese or Peranakan. This Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum offers guided tours and you need to pay for it of course. The admission fee is RM8 for adults and RM4 for children. They will guide you all the way, explaining the wonderful unique culture of Baba and Nyonya. Enjoy the historical artifacts, and the Chinese tradition of female foot-binding…

Malaqa House Museum, Malacca is one of my favourite shops in Melaka. This Malaqa House Museum is a well-kept 120 year old heritage building that sells art, antique furniture, souvenir items, paintings, garden decorations and design items. It is located at Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock. And this house won a heritage award from Badan Warisan Malaysia in 2000.

Jonker Street is also known as Jonker Walk or Jalan Hang Jebat (in Malay language). It is one of the straight and narrow streets in Malacca. But filled with shops of selling unique antique, wood-craved statues, interior and household products, fashionable clothes, colourful accessories and various souvenirs. It is a must visit destination in Malacca.
