Multi-touch comes to RTS games

Multi-touch is very famous nowadays. We have see it on smart phone, tablet and even on a mouse ~ Apple Magic Mouse. And it is coming to LCD monitor now. A coming real time strategic (RTS) game ~ R.U.S.E developed by Eugen Systems is going to have multi-touch support. I saw some RTS multi-touch demos before, but this is better.

Oh no, I just bought Dell UltraSharp U2410 monitor. Should I change a new Multi-touch monitor when R.U.S.E comes out?

Most of the smart phones have touch sensitive screen. There are resistive and capacitive touch screens. So which one of them is better? I searched around the Internet and found some info…

Advantages of resistive touch screen

  • Lower cost.
  • Can operate with any pointing devices like stylus and nail.
  • Good for handwriting recognition system with a stylus.
  • More accurate than capacitive touch screen.

Disadvantages of resistive touch screen

  • Multi touch support not available yet. (Maybe there is…)

My PDA ~ HP iPAQ rz1710 Pocket PC

HP iPAQ rz1710 Pocket PC is my personal digital assistant. It is my first PDA and I am still using it currently. It has been with me for 5 years. Woo… That’s a long year for a PDA. We have lot of interesting PDA phone / smart phone nowadays like the famous Apple iPhone, HTC Touch series, LG KM900, T-Mobile G1, BlackBerry Curve 8900 and more… Why I did not upgrade my humble HP iPAQ rz1710 Pocket PC to anyone of them? Hmm… It is still working (I changed the battery once). And I don’t have reason to replace it.

Free apples from Intel

Yeah… Do you have free apple from your company? He… He… My precious company, Intel gave us 2 apples yesterday as part of the health program. Why Intel gives us the apple? It wants us to be healthy to do more work. :P Another reason, Intel also launched free soda, hot drink at cafe yesterday too. It scares all of the Intel employees will fall sick due to drink too much of the soda drink.

Apple anyone?

P/S – The soda and hot drinks became tasteless this morning. Why? Too much employee drinks them and Intel has to mix with water to enable the supply. LOL :P
