Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Melaka Museum (previously know as Seri Melaka) is official residence and office of the Dutch Governor in Malacca during the 17th century. However, no Malacca governor is staying in this building now. Else you are not visiting Malacca at all. A Famosa was constructed by the Portuguese in 1511. And it suffered severe structural damage during the Dutch invasion.
