Wow… The legendary HTC HD2 is still alive and kicking. HTC HD2 may not able to get Windows Phone 8 Apollo update. But you can enjoy WP7.8 ROM (OS version 7.10.8835.35) on HTC HD2 now. And it is fully unlocked. Of course it is loaded with other goodies like Ultrashot Root Manager, WM Device Center, USB Video, Nokia Camera Extras, Nokia Drive… Personally, I still prefer Android over Windows Phone. But there is lot of HTC HD2 owners who love Windows Phone will like to download and install this WP7.8 ROM for their HTC HD2.

I love the legendary HTC HD2. That’s the main reason that I love HTC. But HTC One X, unlock HTC bootloader void warranty and poor HTC Support make me stay away HTC products from now on. But lot of developers is not still not giving out on getting latest and greatest Android ROM for HTC HD2. So you can download and install Android 4.1 Jelly Bean CyanogenMod 10 ROM for HTC HD2. XDA Developer, tytung has done a very well done job on bringing good ROM and GPS Libraries to HTC HD2. I tried his Froyo, Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich ROM. And now he has Android HTC HD2 ROM based on CyanogenMod 9. This is the version that he is currently developing and supporting. So whoever love to use Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich ROM on HTC HD2 should try out this very ROM.
