Acer neoTouch (F1) is the HTC HD2 cheapo alternative version. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD2850 1 GHz processor like HTC HD2. Using the same 480 x 800 pixels TFT touchscreen, 65K colours pixels but with resistive rather than capacitive in HTC HD2 and with smaller size 3.8 inches. So it is lighter too ~ 130 g. Besides, it has lesser RAM ~ 256MB RAM only and no FM radio support. Hardware specifications are about the same but with much lower price compare to HTC HD2. Of course, you won’t get the fancy interface like HTC TouchFLO 3D and HTC Sense in this Acer neoTouch ~ so less interactive. But Acer neoTouch comes with a stylus pen which good for Chinese character input.

Yeah… pda.pl posted a video about my next dream mobile phone ~ HTC HD2. The interface HTC Sense is really cool. Enjoy the video…
Yeah… HTC HD2 is launched finally. This is the dream mobile phone of many people including me. However, it is not a perfect phone (at least for me). So I am not going to post the good features here but going to write those that I don’t like. You can find all the goodies at HTC website and other favor HTC review sites.

My Sony Ericsson K510i is not working properly. The joystick is not function well as it cannot go up and down most of the time. And getting another HP iPAQ rz1710 Pocket PC with it is little troublesome. You need to take 2 devices. So what should I do? Starting to find a new mobile phone to replace both of them.
Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is my first choose when thinking of new mobile phone. My colleague is using it and is only priced at RM1200. And I like the GPS function. I can install Garmin XT on it. I wish to combine most of the features that I need to use in one device. But I scare that this Symbian OS cannot sync Outlook calendar, contacts and notes well like Sony Ericsson K510i which have lot of issues. Therefore, I need a Windows Mobile (WinMo) OS. Or other OS like Android, Palm, Linux and OSX can support?
After searching around…. I discovered Samsung S8000 Jet. It has lot of features that I like… 16M colours AMOLED touchscreen, 480 x 800 pixels. But too bad it is not powered by WinMo. How about the bigger brother ~ Samsung I8000 Omnia II? Samsung I8000 Omnia II looks great but not perfect. It does not have build in stylus and not 16M colours LCD. Looking further… Some reviews stated that it is lagged a bit. Hmm…
HTC Touch Diamond2 has almost the same features as Samsung I8000 Omnia II. I hate it does not have 3.5 mm audio jack. Hmm…
Mobile phone has really evolved a lot. There is lot of new stuffs for me to learn. Will keep on learning and wait for my dream mobile phone to come. Maybe HTC Leo / HD2 will be my next mobile phone? Who know…?
