Nothing is perfect. Same apply to the latest flagship HTC One X. Well, HTC decided to use hardware buttons on HTC One X which loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Google gives Android smartphone manufacturers the choice to use hardware buttons and on-screen software buttons. HTC had done nothing wrong here. But this decision brings an annoying issue to all HTC One X ~ on-screen 3 dots Menu soft button issue.

I believe that everyone hate bloatware on their smartphone. Luckily, HTC One X does not bundle much bloatware. It has only 1 application that I won’t use ~ 7digital. How to remove this built-in system application on HTC One X? Well, we can’t remove it totally. But we can disable it so that it won’t show up in app drawer. And disable it from running as system service or process which eat up precious memory RAM. Yes, this is part of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich feature and luckily HTC does not disable this feature on HTC One X. No root access is required to disable built-in system application from now on.

HTC One X has 10 multi-touch points on its lovely 720p HD Super LCD2 IPS display screen. Yes, the flagship HTC One X does have 10 multi-touch points. But HTC disables it by default in order to allow 3-finger output gestures which enable HTC Media Link HD output to TV. Most of HTC One X users don’t have HTC Media Link HD. So no point to disable 10 multi-touch points. Playing Fruit Ninja type of games is not fun at all when limited to 2 multi-touch points only.

HTC Sync Manager for HTC One X is not yet ready. But HTC updated HTC Sync to support HTC One series. So you and I can use HTC Sync on HTC One X now. What is HTC Sync? HTC Sync is an application that allows you to synchronize Outlook contacts and calendar or Outlook Express contacts between your computer and your HTC One X as the main feature. Besides, it also lets you install third-party Android applications on the phone, and sync your photos, videos, documents, songs, and playlists to your HTC One X.
