Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines HTC One X users should get the OTA update notification by now. What are the new features and bug fixes in this latest Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean System Update? Besides upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, HTC Sense 4+ is added too. Enhanced UI and better performance in camera, new landing page and event/maps view in Gallery and power management improvement. Hopefully, this software update will improve HTC One X battery life too…

Finally, after a very long 3 months of waiting, there is HTC One X 2.17.707.3 system update OTA in Asia region now. Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines HTC One X users should get the OTA update notification by now. What are the new features or improvements in this system software update? Well, you get memory management enhancement, camera quality improvement and bugs fix which affecting display flicker in some circumstance. Oh, you get Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and HTC Sense 4.1 too. And the most importance thing that I waited for long long time – remove the annoying HTC One X 3 dots Menu soft button. Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread for Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100 users in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines and India finally. Lot of Samsung Galaxy S2 users in Southeast Asia and India had been complaining about lack of new Android version update since initial launch. And they can enjoy new official Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread DXKL3 and XWKL1 firmware for their own region now.

Southeast Asia Samsung Galaxy S II XWKF1 firmware gets new firmware upgrade finally. XWKF1 firmware should be Europe Samsung Galaxy S2 firmware because it has multiple languages but most of them are not in Southeast Asia. Must be a rush for Samsung to sell Samsung Galaxy S2 in Southeast Asia region and missed that. However, the latest firmware for Southeast Asia ~ DXKH2 fixes this issue. If you are using stock XWKF1 firmware, just plug in your SGS2 to Samsung Kies. You should be able to upgrade to the latest DXKH2 firmware if your firmware are based in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines…
