Finally, MIUI Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich ROM is available on Amazon Kindle Fire. However, it is an alpha version. So do expect bugs flying around here and there. And force close issue is a norm too.

Amazon Kindle Fire does not have much custom ROM as I expected (when compare to HTC HD2 and Samsung Galaxy S II). Maybe Android tablet is still not so popular compare to Android phone. And people prefer iPad as tablet. Anyway, here is another custom CyanogenMod 7 ROM cooked by XDA Developer, Skimp Killah. It is based on latest CM7 commits by WhistleStop and IngCr3at1on. Yeah… More and more custom ROM for Amazon Kindle Fire. Here is MoDaCo Custom ROM for Kindle Fire from XDA Developer, paulobrien. MoDaCo Custom ROM is based on Amazon stock 6.2.1 software release. But heavily optimised and compressed to take as little space as possible. And promise to perform as fast as possible. No worry, it also includes Google Services Framework and Android Market. Of course, it is rooted as well and added SuperUser App. Insecure boot image is included too.
