4GB Kingston microSDHC Class 4 Card is the latest microSD card that I bought. And there are microSD to miniSD adapter and microSD to SD adapter come along with it. It is used to test Android builds out there. Class 4 SHDC speed class rating ~ at least 4 MB/s writing speed. Can 4GB Kingston microSDHC Class 4 Card perform well? Let’s find out…

No surprise from 4GB Kingston microSDHC Class 4 Card. It does its job by maintaining at least 4 MB/s writing speed. I was hoping to get more from it since 8GB SanDisk microSDHC Class 2 Card can get more than 7 MB/s writing speed. Hopefully, it does not slow me down on Android HTC HD2.

Hi Jayce, this is the result… is it better or worse?

Look worse to me. You should be able to get at least 4MB/s. Sure that it is class 4?
Try to use 100MB as test. Not 1000MB. See it improve or not.
Hey Jayce
What do you reckon is the best micro SDHC for HTC HD2 running Android with extended partition on the SD card…
Thanks Terence
I tested 2 brands only ~ Kingston and Sandisk. Both are about the same to me.
the class 2 better then the class 4?
Yes, based on my benchmark. SanDisk class 2 better than Kingston class 4.
thanks a million
No problem. 😉
