Yeah… I have Android 2.2 Froyo running on my HTC HD2 right now. That’s the main reason that I flashed HardSPL3 on it. By the way, Android 2.2 is really cool and new to me. Still need lot of time to explore it. Note – Be warned, Installing HSPL may void your warranty. But you can uninstall HSPL before send to service. The support won’t know it. Apple latest and greatest iPhone 4 is facing radio signal issue while holding the ‘wrong’ way. However, Apple iPhone 4 is not the only phones that facing this radio signal issue. Just others did not bring it out loud. I do notice a single bar drop while holding the same ‘wrong’ way with HTC HD2. By the way, I am using Dr SigStat to have a detail look on my current radio signal strength.

One of the things that stop me to try Windows Mobile 6.5.X custom ROM is lacking of Chinese language support. Most of the custom ROMs out there don’t have it. Only a few of them have it. Most of the Android applications can be found at Android Market. However, some of them are not in there. They are offered at other website for download. Android application is coming with .apk file type while Microsoft Windows Mobile with .cab file type. In order to non-Market .apk application on Android, you need to enable ‘Unknown sources ~ Allow installation of non-Market applications’ in Applications at Setting. Just tick on it and you can install non-Market application right now. Else, you will get ‘Install blocked’ message pop up.
