ok and thank, i m using the one named by Hassan file name ended wif FIx but i m not sure what another one the named CWM Stock….. (2.xx mb) do ? and Btw, now i have 2 galleries on my S3 (one stock one and another one with a lot of views) , is that normal and i wonder when next update (Jellybean) , will there still be 2 galleries which have same function? Lastly , those that rooted the phone and using modified ROM , and if they decided to use the Official Jelly Bean update (not jelly bean update from developer rom) , is that means they needed to restore back to original stock rom from Sammobile and then either use OTA or Kies to update or they can do it straightly (from modified rom straight to Official Jelly Bean update (not jelly bean update from developer rom) ) ? as some rom switching need wipe data and factory reset but i wonder how Kies do as no option for us to do that while update throught kies . Sorry for my long doubt, will appreciate if u can answer. thank you and good days
Hmm… Mine only have 1 Gallery.
You can install official Jelly Bean firmware directly with Odin.
Upgrade firmware through Samsung Kies or OTA does not delete your existing apps and data. So no need to factory reset.

Thank for the infor but i wonder if using modified ROm and straightly update the phone through Kies , will that clash the system and what the effect of flashing modem inside the phone. As some like Modem BWLH1 and many more will compatible to stock rom or any modified rom or not. Thank in advance
Samsung Kies does not support custom firmware.

I get “Gallery failed to start” all the time.

1-i have galaxy s2 GT I9100 .i changed csc code to XXS but i don’t remember the original csc code of my phone.. I want to update my phone but it say no update. i downloaded a jelly bean software with odin that have csc FOD on pc but i am not sure if it will work properly on my phone!!
