  1. If install this via odin, will I lose my data (sms, contact, apps, media, etc)? I am interest to try out. Also, this is BTU, not sure it will setup APN (maxis) automatically.

  3. Hi jayce…
iam so much impressed by ur site and the information it provides.

    i have few doubts.

    1. Is there is noticable difference after installing jellybean. is it worth installing??? i worried about loosing my apps and data. what i should do for that. I using titanium backup enough????

    2. a recent OTA firmware update (about 74MB data) failed while installation. My phone is rooted with CF root following ur guide. with s3 international toolkit applied an insecure boot image for installing busybox. i also tried temp unroot with VOODOO OTA ROOTKEEPER. i dont know why the installation failed. may be because of modded status, right????

    After that:

    AP: I9300XXALF2
    CP: I9300DDLEA
    CSC: I9300DDALF1

I hope my original one is
AP: I9300DDALF1 (i didnt take a note of this, but i made a backup with CWM)
    CP: I9300DDLEA
    CSC: I9300DDALF1

    3. S3 frequently loosing cell signals. showing a round icon…just like a stop image. restores signals by going in and out of flight mode. while trying to make a call, asks whether to disable flight mode. also restores signals on arestart.

these problems were not there in the original settings. but maybe after installing JUICE defender for saving battery. i have also installed so many other apps. problem only 1-2 wk old. what to do??? please help jayce…….

    • 1. You need to try it yourself to find out. Titanium Backup is good enough. You can make CWM backup too.

      2. OTA won’t work on rooted device. You need to use Samsung Kies to upgrade firmware.

      3. No idea on this issue. Might be caused by the apps that you installed. Else it is telco signal or SGS3 hardware issue.
