  1. hey jayce! does this build have any battery-drain issues? most android ROMs I’ve downloaded drain a whole lot of battery power. How is your experience with this one?

    • Not sure. Because I did not play long enough with it. I load Android to play games. Then off to Windows Mobile when finish. Did not stay in Android all the time. 😉

      • my problem is when my phone turns off and i re-open it then it will not recognize my network (vodafone qatar), it will go to vodafone netherland, thus, it wont pick up any signal here. Have tried so many things and i will end up hard resetting my phone, after that it will recognize my vodafone qatar sim then I can launch android. I’m afraid that hard resetting always will ruin my htc hd2.
        Can you give me advice or should I re-flash my rom?

  2. Jayce, is the rom install inside the phone itself or the card ? what if i do it and half way it hang or something, then i need to redo or worst put back the old windows platform?

  3. Ugh why cant it work in the US mine only says UK cause i can get any 3G service so no internet unless i use my wifi what can i do to update this or make it work because i do have T-Mobile an it would work much better if i could use everything on my phone

  7. Jayce, I’m trying to download Adndroid on my HTC HD2 but I don’t get any result and android is not running on my phone, black screen is coming up and downloading all the data but I don’t get android. I followed all procedures but still doesn’t work. pls help me. Thx

  8. I have successfully installed the Android 2.2 Froyo 2.2..Everything works fine except I get screen freeze periodically and bit frustrated when I am playing games.

    Install this Mdeejay Froyo sense v2.3 nextsense. Repsonse seems better but I cannot get to access my 3G internet even though my mobile connection is on and did not reflect any error; I can access via WiFi.

    if i wanna install this “Mdeejay Froyo Sense NextSense Android ROM”, did i need to install “Android 2.2 Froyo 2.2” first??? Install it In my SD card?

    You do not need to install “Android 2.2 Froyo 2.2″ first.

    Anyway, found the cause due to the APN is not setup at all. Manually setup resolves the issue.

  13. Anyone tried to sync Andriod 2.2 with Outlook using HTC Sync v3? after setup, the communication was established but nothing get sync. There is no option within the HTC Sync v3 to setup the outlook reference.

    Not sure what I have missed. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

  18. errrrgggg…..really need to find other better froyo…this cannot be work on mine anymore. I restarted few times also cannot anymore and now my windows is slowing down on me.

  20. hey, i m having trouble installing froyo 3.2 and the mdeejay nextsense, i have flashed my rom and my hd2 is on the touch of glass rom right now, but when i launch the android file it goes to the black screen with the green htc logo on it, and it sits there for like an hour and does nothing, when i installed the older froyos it took about 5-10 min to finish and run. ive reformatted my sd card and reflashed the rom and same thing, any ideas on what i can do to fix this issue?

  21. I encountered the same problem! I’ve installed rom after rom and radio after radio and still get that black screen with the green htc logo. I even tried to let it boot overnight and still nothing. This only happens with new android builds. Radio: 2.14.50 and dexter rom that got updated today

  23. I installed Mdeejay Froyo and it’s AWESOME! EXCELLENT JOB…WOW! But I have a problem – I turned off my phone and turned it back on & it booted to Windows…uggh! How do I get it to go back to Froyo??? HELP!!!

    • – Using file explorer in Windows Mobile, inside the ‘Android’ folder run CLRCAD.exe (to fix audio issue). Don’t worry, it will appear to do nothing, that is normal.
      – Run Haret.exe.

  25. I install the froyostone sense v3.2 on my T-MOBILE HD2 AND IT WORKS SMOOTHLY. HOWEVER I CANNOT CONNECT TO MY 3G NETWORK. ANY SUGGESTIONS OF HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM THANK YOU

    I installed Android with FroYo_Sense in htc hd2, OS is stable but when I make calls out and receive call theres a cracking sound and all the music or ringtones I play sounds like the Tempo have changed. Pls advise

  27. My current ROM version is 3.14.707.3 (04666) wee
    Radio version is 2.15.50.14
    do i still need to flash HardSPL3 on my HTC HD2 ?
    Can it be reverted even after flash HardSPL to original state?
    Or is there any alternatives to fix the Robotic voice.

    & today I experienced that the touch screen freezes for a while.

  29. I tried installing Ram version of Gingerbread and its stable now. Problem is Video Cam, GPS, USB doesn’t work. is there any fix?

  30. am using mdeejay froyo sense v.2.3 nextsense, some apps like lane splitter, airattack, google maps I couldnt install and also not able to update the OS to gingerbread.

    and also advise the complete gingerbread with full functioning URL to download.

HE JAYCE . i HAVE A SILLY QUESTION FOR YOU, i WOULD LIKE TO RUN AN ANDROID NAND BUILD FOR EVERYDAY USE AND USE ANOTHER BUILD TO PLAY GAMES WITH IS THIS POSSIBLE, WAS THINKING BOYPPC V19 NAND FOR EVERYDAY AND DARKSTONE SUPERRAM FOR GAMES, SO CAN I BOOT UP SUPERRAM FROM ANDROID. Btw thanks for all the great info on this site.

    • Yes, it should be possible but I did not test it. Just install NAND Android and use SD Android that is based on MAGLDR. You can get more information at XDA.
